1. Introduction to the drama "Mr. Sunshine"
"Mr. Sunshine" is a Korean drama that aired on tvN in 2018 and was written by Kim Eun-sook. It consists of 24 episodes and tells the story of events between American immigrants and Joseon's righteous armies (의병) during the late Joseon Dynasty. Daughter of a noble family in Joseon, she becomes involved in righteous armies (의병) activities and falls in love with Eugene Choi.
(3) Gu Dong-mae (Yoo Yeon-seok)
Son of a butcher, he works with Japanese ninja but later joins forces with righteous armies (의병) .
(4) Kim Hee-sung (Byun Yo-han)
Kim Hee-sung is a person who chooses to live as a bystander rather than actively confront the times in chaotic times. However, his life begins to change as he cheers for the fiery life of his soul, Ko Ae-shin.
(5) Kudo Hina (Kim Min-jung)
Owner of Hotel Glory, she provides assistance to Joseon's righteous armies (의병) .

I think it's a good drama that really shows the pain of Korea's painful modern and contemporary history and Japanese colonial era. However, since it is a drama, you should know that it is slightly different from actual history. Long live Korean independence!
