1. Introduction

 

It is a crime thriller film about corruption and corruption among powerful people who move Korean society. It is based on Yoon Tae-ho's webtoon Insiders. Released on Nov. 19, 2015, the running time is about 130 minutes. It is directed by Woo Min-ho.

 

2. Summary

It is a movie about confrontation and conflict between prosecutors and gang members who try to find out in the process of committing irregularities such as slush funds and manipulation of public opinion by leading presidential candidates, chairman of large corporations, and editorial members of media companies.

(1) Woo Janghoon (Cho Seung-woo)

As a prosecutor of the Republic of Korea, the prosecution will investigate corruption cases at a time when promotion has been frustrated and even local appointments have been made.

 

(2) Ahn Sang-gu (Lee Byung-hun)

In the past, he was a successful gangster, but after being betrayed, he decides to take revenge.

 

(3) Lee Kang-hee (Baek Yoon-sik)

As an editorial writer for a media company with a strong social influence, he is a person who leads corruption by colluding with those in power.

● The intense story and shocking ending of Lee Kang-hee and his collaborators' revenge and power fight are impressive.

● Lee Byung-hun and Baek Yoon-sik's acting are very intense and impressive, and they convey deep emotions to the audience by delicately expressing the character's inner side.

It realistically depicts the invisible correlation between political circles, the business world, the media, and gang members. Especially, the actors' performances are very good.
